Help us stop phone scams

ASIC's ability to warn people quickly about phone scams depends upon the information we receive from the public.

When we'd like to hear from you

We value your vigilance and your time in reporting any unlicensed investment offer that you may receive out of the blue.

In particular, we would appreciate you telling us if:

1.	You have sent money to an unlicensed cold calling outfit.
2.	You got a call from an overseas organisation without a licence that is not named on our List of known unlicensed overseas callers, or
3.	You have already complained to us and now have additional information about any of the cold calling outfits named on our List of known unlicensed overseas callers

What we'd like to know (if possible)

Please phone our Infoline on 1300 300 630 or or email infoline@asic.gov.au telling us:

The name and address(es) of the cold calling outfit
The name of the person who called or contacted you
Dates when you were contacted
Securities offered to you/bought by you
How much money you sent and when and where you sent it (including bank account details)
If the outfit has been taken over or been taken over by any other businesses, and
What documents you have been sent.
